Game Systems

My game work focuses on what happens behind the screen: how an agent chooses its next move, and how to keep that logic running smoothly.

My role

Freelance Game Developer

The disciplines

C++ / C# / Finite state machines / Real-time systems

01

Behaviour as a system

Games and robotics share an interesting question: how does an agent decide what to do next? Finite state machines make those decisions explicit.

02

What I worked on

As a freelance game developer, I worked in C++ and C# on real-time performance, memory management, and finite state machines for autonomous agents.

03

Try the idea

The portfolio playground lets you advance a small agent through a decision loop. It is a simplified educational demonstration of the idea, rather than a recreation of client work.

Finite state machine / interactive study01Observe02Decide03Act04Check

A small experiment in how machines make decisions.

Try it yourself

One decision.
Four states.

01 / Observe

Read the environment. The agent waits for a useful signal.
